The West Muskerry Indoor Hurling Blitz was held recently in Cloghduv. Participants were Clondrohid, Inchegeelagh, Muine Fliuch, Rusheen and Tirelton. Each school played a minimum of five games with competition and scoring tight all through. In the end Tirelton proved the strongest and emerged victorious, winning three out of four games and drawing the fifth. All the children enjoyed the day out and were delighted to receive their winners’ medals presented by Sciath Na Scol Cork. These same children are now eagerly the Draw for the outdoor Sciath Na Scol hurling competition which will be held after Easter.
