Tirelton took part in the County Sciath na Scol football competition during
September and October. Unlucky to lose to Clondrohid by two points in the first
game, we defeated Inchigeela by a point in a nailbiter to qualify for a semi-final
playoff against Cuil Aodha. On the day however Cuil Aodha were just that bit better
and we exited the tournament. However the improvement in the overall skill level of
all the players was remarkable and their effort and commitment was tremendous.
