On June 10th the boys and girls took part in the Sciath na Scol Indoor Hurling Blitz in the Leisure Centre in Macroom. The other schools who took part were Cúl Aodha, Inchigeela and Ballyvongane. It was a very even competition all through with Tirelton defeating Cúl Aodha in a play off to reach the final. In a tremendous game of hurling, Ballyvongane just eeked out a narrow win and while our players were disappointed they really lost nothing in defeat. A great tournament played in the right spirit and refereed excellently all through by John Darby.
