Our Indoor Hurling team put in a tremendous performance in the 4th class blitz in Cloghduv today. They defeated Aghabullogue and Newcestown, drew with Kilbonnane and topped the group with five points. In the final however Kilbonnane took an early lead, and hard though they tried, Tirelton just couldn’t haul them in. Despite their disappointment, all the players gave it their all and can feel very proud of their great showing. AM was excellent in goal, CO’D and EM defended stoutly, CF and KK showed great skill and bravery all through while up front CK, TS and JP were a constant threat. Thanks to the parents who transported the children and all remarked afterwards what a great day it was.
