Third and Fourth Class did a Maths Trail in their classroom and school yard for Maths week. We made estimations and then tested them by measuring the length/width of the classroom, yard and school. We completed a tally of all the different coloured cars that passed the school We used our maths eyes to find different shapes and angles in our environment. We also estimated and timed how fast we could run across the yard. We had great fund and enjoyed the team work.
